Every share is required. SeedXOR is XOR, not Shamir.
Compare recovery models
Shamir over GF(32). Any k shares recover the seed; k−1 reveal nothing. Each share carries a BCH checksum detecting ≥ 8 symbol errors. Failure mode: losing more than n−k shares is unrecoverable.
Pure XOR of entropy. Every share is required — no threshold. Failure mode: losing any single share is unrecoverable.
